Sacked: Five who Violated Pledge

Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said he sacked the five PKR and DAP state executive council (exco) members as they had violated the 10-point Aku Janji (pledge).

He said the five exco members could not continue in their posts after stating that they wanted nothing to do with him.

"They said that they will only attend the exco meeting to monitor the state government and will only listen to the party's instruction.

"This goes against the 10 pledges and oath of allegiance when taking oath in front of the sultan," he added.

Khalid also explained that one of the PKR excos Rodziah Ismail has not been sacked as she is currently overseas.
