Talk to any Malaysian and chances are you will meet someone who believes the country is divided into two camps:
BN versus Pakatan Rakyat
How wrong they are!
Before I go any further, allow me to introduce the concept of dialectics.
For thousands of years, dialectics or the dialectical method has been used by people who have differing views and want to present what they think is the TRUTH (according to them) via reasoned arguments.
Dialectics is NOT debate. Debates are clouded with emotions and won based on judgement of jury etc.
Dialetics is NOT rhetoric which is used to persuade, inform, or motivate a target group. In rhetoric, people use rhetorical questions, symbols, emotional/ethical appeal to persuade.
Dialectics is simply the exchange of logical arguments by proposing that there can be only two polarly opposing options:
Good / Evil, Right / Wrong, Left / Right.
So when people think the political landscape in Malaysia is BN vs PR, it is evidence they are victims of the Hegelian Dialectic.
When using the Hegelian Dialectic, proponents use the Problem – Reaction – Solution framework.
And that is the problem in Malaysia. So many have been fooled, brainwashed, hoodwinked - whatever word you want to use.
Those who do not think, question or analyze are likely to fall for this and then they lose their free will to decide on what is right and wrong.
The Problem
For example, in fabricating a problem, what culprits do is to create a crisis or to manipulate an existing situation to get their targeted reaction.
The Reaction
Then members of public who fall for this will give the desired reaction as already planned by the dialectical master. Typical examples:
a. Rafizi's hypothetical and bizarre explanation for Anwar's bid for MB
b. The Teresa Kok CNY video
Then the respective media will manipulate the problem to stir the desired reaction in internet or social media and slyly offer solutions. For instance, they say - vote for Anwar to prevent another Perak debacle from occurring in Selangor. What a load of lies!
The Solution
Beneath the surface would is be the differences between parties in conflict which give the impetus for more debate and pushing people to see, accept and to activate the solution THEY want - in this case, putting Anwar in place as MB regardless of costs to rakyat, or how the original elected representative has reneged his election pledges/promises etc.
According to this knowledgeable writer:
The social engineer then proposes an excessive change that he knows will be interpreted by the public as an overreaction. After public outcry against the excessive proposal, the social engineer publicly concedes to the original desired change. This concession causes the public to feel as if they have power and influence which keeps them content even if the change achieved by the social engineer is not the change desired by the public. The public has no idea that they have been manipulated from the very beginning of the process. (Source: here)
What is most important is this:
Whenever there is an issue or problem that pops up in Malaysia, remember - it is highly likely it was not by chance.
Think carefully about the gainers or profiteers from this situation.
Put aside your personal feelings or bias.
Be objective and look at it as an outsider devoid of prejudice.
Then, survey to see which party/individual is the bright spark who is proposing a solution.
Now, if you can trace Step 1 (Problem) to Step 2 (Reaction) and Step 3 (Solution)easily, then you can be sure that you will easily see the TRUTH instead of the LIES they have been spinning for all to see and to believe!
And so that is Political Dialectics in Malaysia 101 for you.
Do not be deceived by anyone. Think through carefully - to protect Malaysia, our nation.

Be very careful in what you choose to read and/or believe. All is not as simple. Don't fall for their LIES!
