Show Us What You Can Do

Pakatan Rakyat supporters must realize that PR leaders can never ever be happy with any of BN’s efforts and that includes the mysterious disappearance of MH370. The main preoccupation of PR leaders is to condemn and to find fault with every single statement made by any leader in every single situation most unfairly. What positive contribution has any PR leader made in the search for MH370?
When BN representatives were given a special briefing last night at in expensive hotel from MH370 spokesmen and acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, Lim Kit Siang declared that on principle he would reject Hishammuddin's offer to have the same event for Pakatan reps as ‘nothing new was being said’.
Did Pakatan Rakyat leaders call for a national meeting of all their leaders to brainstorm on how to solve this mystery or how their assemblyman can help in the search for the missing MH370? No! All they can do is talk, talk, and call for more talks with hardly any action. Predictably, he declared Pakatan would propose a parliamentary select committee (PSC) which can be tasked to support and study the investigation after the search and rescue operation for MH370, now in its 12th day, ends. The question remains – what constructive contribution or statement have DAP, PKR or PAS given regarding MH370?
At 3a.m. today, Anwar admitted to knowing the 53-year-old pilot to some degree in an interview with Christiane Amanpour of CNN. He said Capt Zaharie, MH370 pilot supports his “multi-racial coalition. He supports democratic reform. He is against any form of extremism.” Conversely, his wife said he does not know Capt Zaharie.
Three days ago, MStar reported:
Clearly, Opposition leaders such as Lim Kit Siang and Anwar Ibrahim believe themselves to be above reproach and the villains are always BN. If they perceive BN makes a contradictory statement, press conferences will be held, statements issued and they will go to town with a teeny weenie molehill. However, when they do the same, silence reigns.
If the government holds a press conference and makes careful statements, opposition leaders love to accuse them of hiding facts from the government. If there is no press conference, they will accuse them of being clueless or not handling the situation properly. Such goons have no idea about security issues and how difficult it can be to maintain a fine balance.
If indeed PR leaders are so clever in condemning, are they trying to indirectly tell the world that they are far above all other search teams and should be the one in charge of search efforts? That being the case, leaders such as Lim Kit Siang and Anwar should take the podium, hold press conferences, go liaise with the search teams from different countries, coordinate efforts and show us how they are more capable, articulate, intelligent, and strategic in their crisis management skills?
Stop talking! Walk your talk! Show us what you can do better!!! If you cannot do that, zip up!
This applies to all who are running down the government with regards to MH370.
